We are recognised as a training practice for doctors entering a career in General Practice. Our registrars work as part of the practice team and will provide General Medical Services to our patients with some supervision.

Our Practice Nursing staff are highly skilled in all aspects of the management of chronic conditions. They offer advice on healthy living and health promotion, preventative medicine & cervical screening.
We are supported by Treatment Room Nurses, based in Douglas Street Comminity Clinic in Hamilton. They offer routine procedures such as wound dressing, stitch removal and ear syringing appointments are required.
Should the GP ask you to attend for blood tests, you should attend 'Blood & Go' which is a drop in service also available from Douglas Street, Monday to Friday 08:15AM to 15:30PM.

Our Practice based Pharmacist specialises in HRT, pain medication reviews and Polypharmacy reviews. If you have a question or querie about your medication, you may be offered an appointment with Rosie.
The NHS Lanarkshire Pharmacy HUB process most or the medication changes that come from hospitals and other secondary care providers. They may contact you on our behalf to advise of changes to your medication.
Practice Management
The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services.

The team will be your first point of contact with the practice. They endeavour at all times to be friendly and helpful. Their role is crutial to the smooth running of the practice and they all adhere to the strict guidelines laid down by the GP Partners & Management. The receptionist will ask a few questions regarding your illness in order to make sure the appointment you make is appropriate to your needs and with the right person. You have the right to decide who you disclose information to and our staff respect this. The receptionists also deal with the ordering and collection of repeat prescriptions.
