Important Notice about Phlebotomy Services - change to 'BLOOD & GO'
From 17th September 2025, the surgey will no longer provide an in-house Phlebotomy service. Instead, all bloods will be taken at either Douglas Street, Larkhall or Blantyre Community Clinics. This new service does not require patients to book an appointment, just turn up at the request of your clinician.
Monday to Friday, between 8am - 3.30pm, Douglas Street & Larkhall
Monday to Friday 8am - 2.45pm, Blantyre
Please do not come to the surgery.
Please be advised of our future practice closures -
Monday 29th September - Local Holiday.
Wednesday 22nd October afternoon for Staff training.
Thursday 25th & Friday 26th December 2025.
Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd January 2026.
After 18:00, at weekends and on public holidays, urgent medical problems will be dealt with by NHS24, which provides an out-of-hours service all over Scotland.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
ORDERING YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
You can order your repeat prescription using any of the following options:-
Order online. It’s easy to register - registration form can be found under prescriptions tab.
Phone the surgery at any time (24 hour phone line) and select option 1 to leave your repeat prescription request.
In person or by post. There is a mail box in foyer of surgery which can be accessed during opening hours.
