Blood Transfusions

1970's and 1980's

You may have heard from recent news items that blood in Scotland at that time has been found to have been contaminated with certain viruses.

We have excellent treatments for HIV and hepatitis C and it is extremely important that people who may have these viruses are offered this treatment.

If you believe you may have had a blood transfusion at these dates and you have not been tested please speak to the receptionist, make a GP or Practice nurse appointment to discuss further.
